Elementary School Program
The elementary education program (K-4) is designed to provide comprehensive and appropriate instruction to all students. All core subjects are aligned, but not limited to, State, Common Core, and Diocesan learning guidelines. Every effort is made to design an instructional program that is sound, diverese, well rounded, and challenging keeping in mind the foundations of breadth, depth, and relevance. In addition to the core subjects, learners receive instruction in religion, physical fitness, Spanish, and the fine arts.
The learners of Saint Jeanne's are very self-motivated with a constant desire to achieve and excel. Therefore, it is incumbent on each teacher to draw out their individual talents, develop the personal strengths, and positively address the weaknesses. These tasks are undertaken both in class and during the extra-curricular activities. Teachers are challenged to make classes inspiring, engaging, and empowering with a focus on life skills that our learners will need in order to succeed in the world today and in the future. Our partnership with Saint Jeanne's parents is a critical part of this task and essential to the overall success of each learner.
